I didn't stay here, but it looked very clean. When I visited, a mother and her 15 year old daughter worked there cleaning the rooms. Only the mother gets paid. This is how it is here. This is one reason the prices are so low in Ecuador. The daughter's name is Rocio. I have been helping her learn English. So if you go there, ask her if she wants to practice a little English! Both the mother and daughter were friendly and seemed pretty happy but I have to report that the daughter gets hit by the mother when she doesn't want to clean the rooms. This is how it is here in Ecuador. 4-5 dollars per person. This seems to depend on how long you stay, whether they are very busy etc.
